Greek Wine & Tapas - "Greece is the Word"

I approached Chef Darin at Kali’s Mezze about having a “fun” dinner party at Mezze. The thought was to feature Greek wine and tapas. I asked to come up with a menu. Here was his response

  I think you'll find the following menu plentiful and suiting a variety of tastes.
  Tzatziki
Hummus
Tapenade
Feta
Olives
Grilled Portabellos with haloumi cheese
Oven Roasted Eggplant
Spinach Pie
Cheese Pie
Goat Cheese Stuffed Roasted Peppers
Lima Beans
Fried Calamari
Chicken Kabobs
Crab Cakes
Mediterranean Style Meatballs
Pastrima
Baked Custard in Phylo
  I was thinking to offer a Proseeco, a few Greek whites and reds and a tempranillo. I know your dinner at Kalis was coursed and the wines were paired. I think Mezze should be less formal with the food and wine and conversation flowing with the natural pace of the evening. Please call me with any questions or suggestions.
