Locust Point
The Wine Market - The Inaugural Hip Sips Event
For our inaugural event, we wanted to do something special, something upscale, but something not stuffy. So, for the special and upscale part, the wines will all be sparkling wines. "New World Sparklers" to be exact and they will cover all styles (rose, Blanc de Blanc, brut and even a sparkling Shiraz!).
For the not stuffy part, we will be having picnic food, fried chicken, potato salad, deviled eggs and the like. (OK, maybe we’ve scaled up the food just a bit)

We will have tasting notes and will loosely pair the food and wine. For instance, rhubarb tart with sparkling Shiraz, rich Blanc de Blanc with crab and curry deviled egg and so on.

This will be a casual mixer; guests will have an area blocked off that will amount to over half the dining room to mingle.
There will be 6 high top tables and 3 regular tables (for the food and wine) the bar will be open for business as usual.
So, come, eat, drink, taste, mingle, meet some old friends, make some new ones.
